I have to say, this with added carrots, oyster sauce, peanuts and then scallions at the end has become my go-to "ground beef sauce". Great with pasta, not just with noodles. Also great on top of a bowl of rice. As is, it really screams for something crunchy. The peanuts (or cashews) elevates it so much.

Morocco brings his A-game. I wonder if you could have kept that pork in the pot and ladled some of the pork sauce along with the ramen noodles in a fry pan and have the marriage begin there.... That way you can use the pork sauce/Bolognese for other things.

i just made this with some freezer burnt chicken thighs that i minced up instead of ground pork ... ..and used sriracha instead of sambal oelek... we have some beautiful basil outside that i jammed in there. This is very. very. very good.

@Saman Nadir I disagree that white people can't make authentic ethnic food, and several of the BIPOC chefs at BA (for example Priya) has come out and said that she disliked how she was used as a token minority to only make Indian food. I see your point, but Chris presenting a fusion dish between drunken noodles and ragu al bolognese (as he himself described it) just isn't problematic in my view.

Just made this for my husband and I. One of the best things I ever cooked. Used a different fresh ramen brand, which was not as good as yours. Did track down the Sun brand for next time. Whole Foods sells them, and thanks to Amazon Prime, we can get them delivered within two hours.
